Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate/s will be primarily responsible for:

  • The provision of helpdesk support to diagnose and resolve incidents;
  • The liaison with solution partners to ensure that the client’s requirements are met;
  • The management of service activities to ensure agreed service levels are met;
  • The proactively escalation of specific issues to management to ascertain the well-being of our relationship with clients and partners;
  • The delivery of solution training and hand-holding when required;
  • The development of training material and user guides for use by customers;
  • One-to-one coaching and hand-holding sessions with clients to strengthen and facilitate the learning experience.

Requirements

The selected candidate must:

  • Be in possession of a recognised qualification in ICT (Minimum: MQF Level 5) or a recognised comparable qualification;
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years experience in providing IT application related support and/or training ;
  • Have the ability to think logically, communicate effectively and possess excellent listening skills;
  • Be able to use IT Office automation tools;
  • Be eager to learn, pick up new technologies easily;
  • Be able to communicate fluently in both English and Maltese languages;
  • Have a valid license and own transportation.

Bonus Skills/Certifications

In addition to the above one or more of the following skills/certifications will give you a better chance of landing the job:

  • Familiarity with ticketing solutions;
  • Familiarity with SQL concepts;
  • Familiarity with web based Content Management System.
