On Friday, July 19th, the energy was electric as teams, volunteers, and supporters came together for the 15th edition of the BOV Volleyball Marathon – all in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, a cherished home for people with disabilities in Malta.
This 24-hour annual fundraising event isn’t just about sport, it’s about community, compassion, and collaboration. And this year, HLL was proud to be part of it all.

Business Development Representative
Jodene brings energy, focus, and creativity to her role at HLL, where she thrives in building strong stakeholder relationships and leading high-value business development initiatives. She’s known as The Finisher – with over 20 years of experience in communications, business development, and bid management, she’s got a talent for turning big ideas into polished, winning results.
Beyond her sharp eye for detail and project management skills, Jodene is also the driving force behind HLL’s communications and marketing content. Whether coordinating with partners, shaping a narrative, or leading a project from start to finish, she combines precision with a performance-driven approach that has focus, flair, and gets results.
Jodene has two deep loves – food and travel! A natural storyteller, when she’s not crafting business proposals, she’s probably swapping travel stories or finding the best local spots wherever she goes.
IT Support Team Lead (EHI)
Ahmed is HLL’s resident IT wizard, as a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in technical support, specialising in Level 1 and Level 2 operations. Throughout his career, he has led teams through complex troubleshooting processes, streamlined workflows, and ensured high customer satisfaction rates across various industries. With hands-on expertise in system administration, user support, and process automation, Ahmed has a knack for turning technical challenges into seamless solutions.
He thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoy mentoring junior technicians to help them grow into confident, capable support specialists. His leadership approach is rooted in clear communication, accountability, and continuous learning.
Outside of work, he is passionate about staying active, whether it’s hitting the gym or playing some hoops with his kids. He loves exploring new places, both with his family and on solo international adventures. Fitness keeps him energised, travel keeps life exciting, and family keeps it all in perspective!
Software Developer & Team Lead
With over two decades of experience in finance, healthcare, and e-commerce, Genadiy turns complex business ideas into powerful, scalable digital solutions. Backed by a degree in computer science and a passion for high-availability, high-performance systems, he thrives on building web solutions that automate processes and deliver measurable results.
Comfortable in both startup agility and enterprise scale, Genadiy has guided small to medium-sized teams to deliver projects that blend technical excellence with clear business outcomes. From microservices and distributed systems to cloud-based architectures in the .NET ecosystem, he brings deep technical expertise and a collaborative, results-driven mindset.
Equally at ease in the boardroom and the codebase, Genadiy bridges the gap between strategy and execution – helping organisations structure, prioritise, and deliver applications that perform flawlessly and grow with demand.
As for life outside of work? He’s famously secretive…and no one’s quite sure what he’s really doing.
Executive Manager
Fabian is an IT professional with over 15 years of experience in operations, leadership, and customer support. With a passion for emerging technologies, he is always exploring innovative solutions that drive efficiency and deliver results. Throughout his career, Fabian has built a reputation for being the go-to person for ensuring everything stays on track – from team coordination to project delivery and all the fine details in between.
Known for his clear communication and unwavering focus on efficiency, in his Executive Manager role he collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and to the highest standards. His target-driven approach ensures that both client goals and organisational objectives are always met.
Outside of his professional life, Fabian has a wide range of hobbies, including cooking, painting miniatures, gardening, video games, and football – though, like many, he often finds there’s never enough time to pursue them all.
Business Development and REVO Product Manager
Clara studied computing and business at the University of Malta, where she focused her thesis on the healthcare sector – a long-time interest. With nearly nine years of experience, Clara has helped clients successfully implement and support their projects, while also working in business development.
As the Product Manager for REVO, Clara drives strategy and development, ensuring HLL’s flagship product evolves to meet user needs. With a blend of technical know-how and business insight, she is passionate about creating impactful solutions.
Outside of work, Clara has a love for sports, sparked by playing basketball growing up, and enjoys traveling, soaking up the sun at the beach, and spending time with family.
Chief Executive Officer
Arthur is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in IT and management. For the past two decades his focus was on transforming the health and care sectors through technology.
Before joining HLL, he held the position of Chief Information Officer at both the Ministry for Health and the Ministry for Social Policy, where he led major national IT initiatives and was involved in various international projects.
As Chief Executive Officer, Arthur leads a passionate team that designs and delivers innovative, reliable IT solutions for organisations in the health and care space. His strong commitment to quality and innovation continues to shape HLL’s vision.
Outside of work, Arthur enjoys exploring new places, watching documentaries, and above all, geeking out over the latest tech. If there’s a tech-based solution to be found, rest assured he’s already on it.
Director and Founder
As Managing Director and Founder of HLL, Ian has over 35 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience and played a key role in establishing companies focused on IT hardware, consultancy, and support.
Ian firmly believes that a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering real value is key to success. This philosophy has consistently driven business growth, as satisfied clients are the best form of promotion.
In his free time, Ian enjoys watching football, summer BBQs, traveling, and (over)indulging in good food.
